Juvenile.- Cabinet (The) of Useful Arts & Manufactures: Designed for the Perusal of Young Persons, first edition, wood-engraved illustrations, some full-page, contemporary ownership inscription to pastedown dated 1822, final f. with pricing crossed through to foot to verso (some show-through), a couple other very small ink marks to fore-edge, some very light foxing, original roan-backed boards, printed paper label to spine, little rubbed with some wear to corners, a good copy, [cf. Osborne I, p.110], Dublin, Christopher Bentham, 1820 § Book of Trades (The); or, Library of the Useful Arts, 3 vol., mixed editions, vol. 3 half-title with advertisements to verso (slightly trimmed at fore-edge), frontispieces and 63 plates, ownership inscriptions to front endpapers and vol. 2 frontispiece verso & head of title, vol. 1 p.29 small hole with loss to few letters, vol. 2 title starting to work loose at foot, vol. 3 p.89 tear into text repaired, few small stains, some light spotting and browning and offsetting, vol. 1 & 2 uniformly bound in contemporary marbled boards rebacked in modern red morocco, vol. 3 contemporary boards rebacked in modern blue calf, spines gilt, vol. 3 spine little faded and boards lightly soiled, some wear to extremities, for Tabart and Co. [-R. Phillips; -B. and R. Crosby and Co.] , 1806-1811-[?1816]; and others similar on trades, 12mo & 8vo (8)
