Criminal Justice.- Compte Général de l'Administration de la Justice Militaire pour l'année 1843, woodcut device to title, tables, blue silk bookmark with light offsetting to inner margins pp.22-23, silked endpapers, handsome contemporary gilt and blind-stamped red morocco, g.e., gilt spine title, small scratch to lower cover, fractional bumping to corners and extremities, 4to, Paris, Imprimerie Royale, Mai 1846.

⁂ A handsome copy with a small pencil note attributing the binding to Thouvenin.

A statistical report on military justice in the French Army, dedicated to King Louis-Philippe. The first 'Compte' appeared in the 1830s, soon after Louis-Philippe's succession, and became and annual series thereafter.
