Darton, publisher.- Miniature Books.- Mills (Alfred) Natural History of 48 Quadrupeds, 48 engraved plates, one or two trimmed close at foot, rear endpaper a little torn, [Gumuchian 4110], 1815; Biography of Eminent Persons, first edition, 47 engraved plates, contemporary ink inscriptions to front pastedowns, occasional ink marginalia, else a very clean copy, 1814, contemporary ink inscriptions to front endpapers, some light offsetting, original boards, joints starting to split, chipped, else bright copies; London in Miniature. With Engravings of its Public Buildings and Antiquities, first edition, 47 engraved plates, one plate with pencil marks and a few with marginal small tears, contemporary red morocco, 1814; Costumes of Different Nations in Miniature, 47 engraved plates, contemporary red morocco, spine darkened, 1814, scattered surface soiling and spotting (largely to last 2 mentioned), some cracking at gutters and a few pp. working a little loose, rubbed and bumped with a few stains, [Darton G651 (3); G646 (1); G648 (1); G647 (2)], printed for Darton, Harvey & Darton, 24mo (4)
