Woman author.- [Rogers (A.)] The History of Miss Temple. In two volumes. By a Young Lady, 2 vol. in 1, upper and lower margins of title torn away, with loss of first word 'The' of title, D10 horizontal tear within text without loss, G4 small piece from outer margin, affecting several letters, M5 lower corner torn with loss of a few letters to last three lines of text recto, M6&7 lower corner frayed, just touching catchwords, a few marginal tears, water-stained, some spotting and staining, lightly browned, contemporary calf, spine in compartments, head of spine and lower corners worn, rubbed and marked, [ESTC N7822], 12mo, Dublin, Printed for Messrs. Price, Whitestone, W. Wilson, R. Cross, Chamberlaine [& others], 1777. sold not subject to return.

⁂ Rare, with only three copies recorded by ESTC (Cambridge, UCLA and Nebraska).

Provenance: Lady Delphey; Lady ?Thyne (19th century inscriptions).
