Natalibus (Petrus de, Bishop of Equilio) Catalogus sanctorum et gestorum eorum ex diversis voluminibus collectus, double column, a1 text in red and black, woodcut historiated borders and numerous historiated and decorative initials, some contemporary and later ink marginalia, lacking [*]1-4 (including title) and p3, the odd f. text neatly scored through (still perfectly legible), small wormholes (more numerous towards end and to inner rear cover), spotting and staining, lightly browned, contemporary blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, remains of one set of metal clasps, upper cover the beginnings of a split to wood strengthened with remains of cloth externally and thick paper internally, rudimentary repair to lower corner of lower cover, a few small wormholes (mostly to lower cover), pigskin soiled and stained, marked and rubbed, [Baudrier XI, 212], 4to in 8s, [Lyon], [Claude Davost for] Etienne Gueynard, [1508].
⁂ A handsomely printed edition of this lives of the saints, which is scarce at auction.
