Mysteries of the Rosary.- [Loarte (Gaspar de)] [Instructions and aduertisements, how to meditate the misteries of the rosarie of the most holy Virgin Mary], translated by John Fenn, woodcut half-page illustrations, head- and tail-pieces and decorative initials, errata to final verso, lacking **1-4 (the first blank), A1&2, and H1-8, woodcut on F3v scuffed at head, E6&7 outer margin torn away, affecting printed side-notes, G1 piece from lower corner, affecting printed side-notes, water-stained / stained, some spotting, lightly browned, early 19th century calf, gilt, spine in compartments, corners worn, rubbed, [STC 16646; ESTC S108809], small 8vo, [Printed by W. Carter], [1597]. sold not subject to return.

⁂ Rare at auction in any condition. Of the ten copies recorded by ESTC three are defective.
