Bewick.- Mavor (William) The English Spelling Book, new edition, presentation copy from Thomas Bewick to his youngest daugher Elizabeth with ink inscription "The Gift of T. Bewick to Elizabeth Bewick November 7th 1803" to front free endpaper, engraved frontispiece, woodcut illustrations by or after Bewick and his workshop, lacking final advertisement f., G11 creased with tear running through text, a few gatherings proud or working loose, pencil inscription and tipped in note on front pastedown, contemporary sheep, joints cracket, rubbed, 8vo, for Richard Phillips, [1802].
