Asian Art.- Ecke (Gustav) Chinese Painting in Hawaii, 3 vol. including 2 portfolios of plates, first edition, one of 550 copies, text with tipped-in colour plates, illustrations, original cloth, folding plates loose as issued in original cloth portfolios with ties, list of plates in vol.3 with short marginal tear, together in original cloth slip-case (a little spotted, splits to joints), Honolulu, 1965 § Sirén (Osvald) Histoire de la Peinture Chinoise, 2 vol., a few pencil annotations to plates, occasional spotting, modern half calf over marbled boards, spines gilt, uncut, very slightly rubbed at edges, Paris, 1934-35 § Giuganino (Alberto) La Pittura Cinese, 2 vol., one of 750 copies, original cloth, [Rome], 1959 § Edwards (Richard) The Field of Stones: A Study of the Art of Shen Chou (1427-1509), original cloth, Washington D.C., 1962, all with plates and illustrations; and 17 others on Chinese painting, 4to & folio (25)
