Newcomb (Thomas, clergyman, teacher and poet, 1682?–1765) Autograph Letter signed to the printer Archibald Hamilton, ½p., sm. 4to, address on verso, n.p., n.d. [?1757], sending a dedication to his book, Mr. Hervey's Contemplations on a Flower-Garden..., "I have finish'd a dedication, to a worthy and most exemplary person which will in a general measure answer the end of a preface, as I have taken particular notice in it, of the nature of this world and the peculiar merit and excellence of all Mr. Harveyes Contemplations; This address Mr. Rivington shall have a sight of", folds, slightly browned.

⁂ Thomas Newcomb sending a dedication to Mr. Hervey's Contemplations on a Flower-Garden, done into blank verse... by T. Newcomb, 1757. In the dedication of this book to the newly married wife of the third Duke of Richmond, Newcomb spoke of his age and infirmities.
