Voltaire.- De Laleu (Guillaume-Claude, Parisian notary, served as "conseiller du roi", 1712-74).- Le dernier Compte tendre par M. Delaleu a M de Voltaire... [the latest report from Mr. Delamare to Mr. de Voltaire...], L.s. "Ducerers", manuscript in French, 3pp., slightly browned, sm. 4to, 23rd June 1768; and 4 others, French letters, v.s., v.d. (5).

⁂ First mentioned, De Laleu was connected to the creation of Pigalle's famous sculpture of Voltaire. Notes accompanying subscriptions sent to the sculptor often passed through De Laleu, highlighting his connection to the management of Voltaire's affairs or those of his circle.
