Louis XIV (King of France, 1638-1715).- Collection of 3 pamphlets and 11 manuscript documents relating to Louis XIV's foreign policy, printed documents including: Francois-Henry de Montmerency, French commander, recounting the battle of Steenkerque to the king, 1692; manuscripts in French, Latin and Italian, including: Louis XIV's correspondence concerning the siege of Namur, 1692; treatise on the resolution taken by the allied princes at the Hague in 1691; address by the apostolic nunzio Delfino on the conclusion of peace after 1697, printed 27pp., and manuscripts 63pp., some with folds, browned, disbound, 4to and folio, Rome, Paris etc., v.d., c. 1700 (14).
