Marx (Karl) [Das Kapital], translated by Dimitar Blagoev, title with contemporary ink ownership inscription, small ink mark to fore-margin near start, some light soiling, lacking front free endpaper, hinges strengthened with cloth, contemporary calf-backed cloth, some staining to covers, wear to corners, rubbed, Sofia, [c.1910]; [Das Kapital], translated by George Bakalov, portrait plate of Marx, title with ink ownership name to head, advertisement leaf at end chipped and frayed at edges, contemporary calf-backed cloth, rubbed, Stara Zagora, 1910, toned, a few light stains to fore-edge, 8vo (2)

⁂ The two first Bulgarian translations of Das Kapital (only a partial translation had previously been published by Blagoev in 1905). Both translators were aware of each other's work, and which was published first is a matter of debate.
