Ardizzone (Edward).- Reeves (James) The Lion that Flew, signed presentation inscription from the illustrator "For Brian from Edward Ardizzone" to front free endpaper, additionally signed by the author to same front free endpaper, bookseller's ticket to foot of pastedown, some soiling to endpapers, very slight shelf-lean, toning to spine and lower cover, light bumping to spine ends, Chatto & Windus, 1974 § Ardizzone (Edward) Nicholas and the Fast Moving Diesel, printed label "File Copy Not to be Taken Away...W.S. Cowell, Ltd" to pastedown, browning to endpapers, slight spine lean, some bumping and light rubbing to extremities, dust-jacket, little rubbed and soiled, some small chips and wear to extremities, longer tear to foot of upper panel without loss, Eyre & Spottiswoode, [1947], first editions, colour illustrations by Edward Ardizzone, original pictorial boards; and other children's books illustrated by the same, including the first Ardizzone illustrated editions of Graham Greene's Little Train, Little Steam Roller, Little Fire Engine & Little Horse Bus, v.s.
