Sassoon (Siegfried) Lingual Exercises for Advanced Vocabularians, one of 99 copies, monogrammed presentation inscription from the author to Gabriel Atkin "G.A." on title verso, light scattered spotting, original brown buckram, slipcase, lacking head and foot, 8vo, Cambridge, Cambridge University Press, 1925.

⁂ A fantastic association copy inscribed to Gabriel Atkin, Sassoon's first great love.

Sassoon first met Atkin in November 1918 and was quickly infatuated. They continued the relationship for a short while, though after time Sassoon began to find Atkin's behaviour erratic and immature. They saw each other rarely after 1925, as Sassoon became closer to Glen Byam Shaw.
