In a Free State, faint browning to endpapers, spine ends and corners fractionally bumped, edges slightly toned, 1971 § Gordimer (Nadine) The Conservationist, spine slightly faded, 1974, first editions, original cloth, dust-jackets; and 11 others, mostly Booker Prize winners and another signed by Goff, 8vo (14)

Rubio Tapani Lindroos (1949-2014) poet and bookseller was born in Finland. His lifelong partner was Martyn Goff (1923-2015), director of the National Book League, chairman of Henry Sotheran and administrator of the Booker Prize.

Signed material by Goff to Lindroos is rare.

The lot contains Elizabeth Jayne Howard's copy of 'Sacred Hunger' by Barry Unsworth.
