⁂ Tony Harrison was a renowned English poet and playwright, with many of his works performed at the Royal National Theatre. In 2015, he was awarded the David Cohen Prize in recognition of his distinguished body of work. Most items in this collection are inscribed to Harrison’s agent, Gordon Dickerson, and to his partner, Kenneth Ewing. Dickerson was also the literary agent of Tom Stoppard and played a significant role in shaping Stoppard’s career.
