Bannerman (Helen) The Story of Little Black Sambo, first edition, lacking half-title with advertisement for 'Dumpy Books' series to verso, ownership inscription to front free endpaper, a few leaves repaired or stained at gutter at beginning and end, lightly soiled, gutter split with some leaves loose or working so, original cloth, lettered and decorated dark in green, ownership name "Butler" to lower cover, rubbed, lettering faded with some words lost, Grant Richards, 1899; [Another copy], fourth edition, half-title, advertisement f., p.60 working loose at foot, one or two leaves lightly creased, lightly soiled, light browning to endpapers, original cloth, lettered and decorated dark in green, little rubbed and soiled with a few small stains, Grant Richards, October 1900, colour illustrations; and others, children's, including a rather worn and repaired copy of the first edition of Beatrix Potter's The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit [1906], 12mo & 16mo (4)
