Pasternak (Boris) Doctor Zhivago, cut signature "very cordially from Lydia Pasternak" laid down on title, ink gift inscription on front free endpaper, dust-jacket margins slightly water-stained, extremities lightly nicked, 1958 § Charriere (Henri) Papillon, translated by Patrick O'Brian, the odd spot, dust-jacket with marginal repair to upper panel, 1970, first English editions, original cloth, corners and spine ends a little rubbed and bumped, dust-jackets, spines fractionally discoloured, a few creases, 8vo (2)

⁂ Lydia Pasternak Slater (1902-1989), Soviet research chemist, poet and sister of Boris Pasternak. She become a published poet in German, Russian and English and translated the poem's of her brother.
