Leacock (Stephen) Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town, pencil ownership signature and typed note laid down with tape on front free endpaper, ownership address blind stamped to front free endpaper and half title, light browning to title and a few pp., marginal ink note to one or two pp., 1912; Arcadian Adventure with the Idle Rich, ink gift inscription on front free endpaper, faint spotting to endpapers, 1914; Moonbeams from the Larger Lunacy, 1915, first editions, original cloth, rubbed at spine ends and corner tips, light spotting and toning to edges; and 9 others by Leacock, 8vo (12)

⁂ A very good collection of Stephen Leacock's fiction. Leacock (1869-1944) was a Canadian teacher, political scientist and humourist. He was Canada's best known humourist and was awarded the Mark Twain Medal for Humour.

Rare to find his work in dust-jackets.
