Simenon (Georges) Maigret Right and Wrong, first English edition, signed presentation inscription from the author in French to his English editor Richard Brain dated 1954 on front free endpaper, faint browning to endpapers, original cloth, spine and margins slightly toned, dust-jacket, closed tear to upper panel foot, affecting text, upper flap price clipped, light yellow glue strips flap margins, minor loss to upper flap joint, lower flap joint splitting, extremities rubbed and creased, spine ends nicked, 8vo, 1954.

⁂ Warmly inscribed by the author to Richard Brain, his editor at Hamish Hamilton: "À Richard Brain, qui a été notre charmant compagnon lors de notre tour d'Angleterre, je me souviens amical de son sourire et de tous les plaisirs qu'il a organisés pour nous. George Simenon. Londres 1954".
