Rattigan (Terence) The Winslow Boy, first edition, signed by several original cast members on front free endpaper, Christmas card with a signed inscription from Kathleen Harrison laid down and small bookplate of Ronald Maker on front pastedown, "Library of Peter Kettle" blind stamped on half title, faint spotting to one or two pp., original cloth, spotting to edges, dust-jacket, upper flap price clipped, spine fractionally toned, an excellent copy, 8vo, 1946.

⁂ A fantastic copy of Rattigan's first major success, signed by several original cast members, including: Emlyn Williams, Frank Cellier, Michael Howell, Kathleen Harrison, Alastair Bannerman, Angela Baddeley, Madge Compton, Mona Washbourne, Jack Watling and Clive Morton.

The play was first directed by Glen Byam Shaw and performed at the Theatre Royal, Brighton in February 1946 and later at the Lyric Theatre, London in May 1946.
