Dickens (Charles) [Christmas Books], 4 vol., comprising The Chimes, engraved frontispiece and additional pictorial title (first state), previous owner's ink signature, 1845; The Cricket on the Hearth, second state of advertisement f. at end, bookplate, 1846; The Battle of Life, additional pictorial title in second state, 1846; The Haunted Man, initial advertisement f., lacking half-title, neat repairs to spine extremities, 1848, first editions, illustrations, the odd spot and stain, otherwise generally clean internally, cracked hinges to all but last mentioned, original red cloth, gilt, g.e., a little rubbed, slight bumping to corners and extremities, [Smith II, 5, 6, 8, 9], 8vo, 1845-48.
