Britain.- Adams (John) Index Villaris, or, an Alphabetical Table of all the Cities, Market-Towns, Parishes, Villages, and Private Seats, in England and Wales, title in red and black, woodcut initials and decorations, Montagu George Knight's copy with his bookplate, ink ownership inscription to title verso, short closed tear to title, slightly affecting text, scattered staining and spotting, some toning and the odd small hole, cracking at upper hinge, else a clean copy, contemporary panelled calf, [ESTC R20019], A. Godbid and J. Playford for the Author, 1680 § Capper (Benjamin Pitts) A Topographical Dictionary of the United Kingdom, 46 engraved maps, 7 folding, scattered foxing and a few closed tears, affecting text, some plates working a little loose, contemporary polished tree calf, tooled in blind and gilt, 1808, first editions, spines chipped with some loss to ends, cracking at joints, rubbed and bumped; and 8 others, British topography, v.s. (10)
