Dickens (Charles) A Christmas Carol. In Prose. Being a Ghost Story of Christmas, later pencil inscription to half-title, some spotting or light foxing, gutter cracked at p.80 but holding, original green pictorial wrappers, spine lightly faded and with loss to ends, lightly soiled, Bradbury & Evans, 1858; The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain, first edition, advertisement f. at start, frontispiece and additional vignette title, illustrations after Leech and others, book-label, light toning to first few leaves, occasional light finger-soiling, rear free endpapers with slight abrasion to gutter, original red cloth, gilt, g.e., spine faded and a little frayed at ends, corners rubbed, shelf-lean, Bradbury & Evans, 1848; and others by the same, including a defective copy of the sixth edition of A Christmas Carol, 1844 (lacking plates except for frontispiece), 8vo & 12mo (8)
