Music.- Woods (John, of Cavendish, Suffolk) John Woods's Book; I hear some Men hate Music, let them Show, In Holy Spirit, what else the Angels do, Then they that do Despise such Sacred Mirth, Are neither fit for Heaven nor for Earth, hand-coloured calligraphic title, index and 744pp. of manuscript music, slightly browned, original half calf, rubbed, corners bumped, lettered direct: "Thomas Woods's Book" on upper cover, oblong 4to, Cavendish, Suffolk, 9th November 1801.
