West (Rebecca) The Return of the Soldier, first American edition, frontispiece and 3 plates by Norman Price, bookplate to front free endpaper, original cloth, slight mark to upper cover, minor bumping to spine tips, dust-jacket, spine ends and corners chipped, damp-staining to spine, upper joint split with tape repair to verso, splitting to upper fore-edge with tape repair to verso, New York, 1918; A Train of Powder, first edition, signed presentation inscription from the author "To Lord and Lady Birkett from Rebecca West. I don't know anything about the law, but, as they say at the Royal Academy, I know what I like. 1955" to front free endpaper, light browning to endpapers, original cloth, light fading to spine, small splash mark to upper cover, dust-jacket, price-clipped, light fading to spine, minor chipping to spine tips and corners, 1955; and 3 others by the same, 8vo (5)
