Britain.- Owen (John) Britannia Depicta or Ogilby Improv'd; being an Actual Survey of all the direct and Principal Cross Roads of England and Wales..., 273 engraved county and strip road maps, printed on recto and verso, ink gift inscription to William Hart Smith dated 1850 with his book label to front pastedown, front endpaper with ink inscriptions loosely inserted, a few ff. trimmed at head or foot, affecting a few words and plates, marginal toning and the odd marginal tear, contemporary calf, covers detached, spine darkened, for Carington Bowles, 1764 § Cary (John) Cary's New and Correct English Atlas, 47 engraved maps hand-coloured in outline, tissue-guards, the odd plate working loose, some browning and scattered foxing, offsetting, upper hinge a little weak, contemporary tree calf, spine gilt in compartments, spine faded, for John Cary, 1793, surface soiling, extremities rubbed and bumped, 4to (2)
