Polar Explorers.- Ross (Sir John, naval officer and Arctic explorer, 1777-1856) Autograph note signed, "Sailed from the Thames 23rd May 1829 in the Victory Steam Vessel for discoveries in the Arctic Seas and returned to London 19 October 1833", autograph manuscript, 113 x 90mm., 1833; Evans (Edward Ratcliffe Garth Russell, naval officer, second in command to Scott on his second expedition, 1880-1957) Autograph, in an small autograph album, original leather gilt, upper cover detaching, g.e., 77 x 103mm., 1927-37; and a small quantity of others, newspaper cuttings etc., relating to Captain Cook etc., v.s., v.d. (sm. qty).
