Byron (Lord).- Davies (Thomas) Memoirs of the life of David Garrick, Esq., 2 vol., half-titles, engraved portrait frontispiece, advertisement f. at end of vol.2. ink correction to text on S2v, some spotting and staining, contemporary half calf, spines gilt and with black leather labels, corners worn, rubbed, 8vo, Printed for Longman, Hurst, Rees, and Orme, 1808.

⁂ A pencilled note to the front pastedown of vol.1 reads 'Lord Byrons Copy, 2vol 12-'. Lot 58 in the sale catalogue of his library (Mr. Evans, 6th July, 1827) is 'Davies's Life of Garrick, 2vol., 1808', sold to Warder for 6s. 6d. (a copy of the entry is included in the lot).
