Music.- Testimonial presented to Alberto Randegger for his Musical Jubilee, c. 120 signatures from members of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music, acknowledgment p. within hand-coloured and gilt pictorial borders, signatures within printed red and black pictorial borders, satin endpapers with the odd nick, some surface soiling and light scattered foxing, a few stains, original red morocco, gilt, some light rubbing, g.e., housed in cloth box (defective), 1904; and another musical limited-edition 19th-century work, together with a facsimile of the award presented to Alberto Randegger upon his acceptance into the Royal Philharmonic Society in 1904, v.s. ⁂ Among the signatures are those of Sir Hubert Parry, composer and Director of the Royal College of Music, and Tobias Matthay, a leading piano teacher in London. Included on the acknowledgement page is the following statement: "A number of your friends consider it meet to mark the completion of your fiftieth year of active musical life in England by some demonstration of personal regard and esteem....the signatures represent a very small proportion of those who would have liked to join in this address."
