Beckford (William).- Britton (John) Graphical and Literary Illustrations of Fonthill Abbey, Wiltshire,, large paper copy, half-title, additional engraved title, title vignette, 9 plates (2 hand-coloured), list of subscribers, advertisements at end, foxing and marginal staining, bookplate of John Peacock to front pastedown, contemporary green morocco, rebacked, covers scuffed and stained, g.e., 1823 § Rutter (John) A Descriptive Guide to Fonthill Abbey and Demesne, for 1823, Including a List of its Paintings and Curiosities, engraved frontispiece and additional title (both a little foxed), leaf following title repaired, occasional pencil notes to margins commenting on the architecture or objets "very fine... the grand gallery and octagon the most extraordinary of the whole", original boards, neatly rebacked, retaining original spine label, staining to covers, Shaftesbury, [1823], 4to & 8vo (2)
