[Hayes (Charles)] A Dissertation on the Chronology of the Septuagint, 4 folding tables, advertisement f., bookplate of Jeffery Whitaker, ink gift inscription to the Theological Seminary to title verso, a few tears with neat paper repairs, affecting text, scattered foxing, upper hinge cracked and lower broken, T. Woodward, 1741 § [Auckland (William Eden, Baron)] Principles of Penal Law, errata f. bound at end, bookplate of William Bolton, ink ownership inscriptions to title including "Bird Wilson", B2-B7 loosely inserted, scattered spotting, a few small marginal tears, B. White, 1771, staining and cracking at gutter, hinges reinforced, contemporary calf, rebacked, rather worn, [ESTC T116597; T113009]; and others, 17th-18th century English, v.s. (c.40)

⁂ The second mentioned includes the signature ‘Bird Wilson’ in the title, likely referring to James Bird Wilson, Professor of Systematic Divinity at the General Theological Seminary in New York.
