Rackham (Arthur).- Walton (Izaak) The Compleat Angler, one of 775 copies signed by the artist, title printed in green and black, colour frontispiece and 11 plates and black and white illustrations by Arthur Rackham, captioned tissue-guards, advertisement slip for 'The Night Before Christmas' illustrated by Rackham loosely inserted, light foxing to endpapers and first few leaves, some spotting elsewhere, mainly to fore-edge, original vellum, gilt, t.e.g., others uncut and partly unopened, spine very lightly soiled and with one very small nick/stain affecting couple letters, one corner little bumped, housed in original board slip-case (quite worn), George C. Harrap & Co., 1931 § Crawhall (Joseph) Izaak Walton: His Wallet Booke, [one of c.500 copies], hand-coloured woodcut illustrations by the author throughout, 24 blank ruled leaves entitled 'Fysshe Stories' at end, labelled linen pockets to pastedowns for 'Baccy, Lynes, Fysshe Tales I believe, Hookes & I's, More Baccy' etc. at front and large pocket at end for 'Fysshe Stories I don't believe', occasional light spotting, some light browning at beginning and end, offsetting, original half parchment over vellum, gilt, with ties, tear and small loss to spine affecting few letters, soiled, rubbed and rather worn in places, [Coigney 126], Field & Tuer, Leadenhall Press etc., 1885; and other copies of Walton's The Complete Angler, including the 2 vol. Tercentenary edition (one of 350 copies), 4to et infra (5)
