Ellis, one of 450 copies, printed in red and black, wood-engraved frontispiece by Reginald Savage and decorative initials ?by C. R. Ashbee, pencil ownership name to rear pastedown, some light spotting to fore-edge and the odd spot elsewhere, but generally good, original limp vellum, yapp edges, with ties, very small stain to spine, light toning, mainly to lower cover, some spotting to fore-edge of covers and light surface soiling, 1899 § Castiglione (Baldassare) The Courtyer of Count Baldessar Castilio, translated by Sir Thomas Holby, one of 200 copies, wood-engraved initials by C.R. Ashbee, some light scattered spotting, mainly at beginning and end, hinges cracked but holding firm, original limp vellum, yapp edges, lacking ties (one with remains), light toning to covers, spotting, particularly to upper cover, light surface soiling, 1900, Essex House Press; and others, private press, small 4to & small folio (5)
