Combinaisons Décoratives Application aux Travaux Manuels, first edition, 16 plates containing 64 colour designs (printed on both sides), original printed wrappers with decorative colour panels, spine worn and defective, Paris, Librairie Delegrave, 1929 § Gillet (Henri) Vignettes Décoratives dans le goût du jour, 29 pochoir plates only (of 30, lacking plate 17), marginal soiling, loose as issued in original cloth-backed board folder with ties, rubbed, spine faded, Paris, [1922]; and 20 others, continental, on ornament and design including a bundle of works by Ernest Guillot with chromolithographed plates, v.s. (23)

⁂ The first is an astonishing collection of designs executed by children between the ages of 4 and 8 years old. Madeleine Bardot was an inspector of infant schools, while Claveau was a teacher of design in the lycées.
