⁂ First and apparently only German edition, with the second edition of the English translation, of this instruction manual on how to teach paper construction. Blasche was a teacher at the Salzmann School at Schnepfenthal in Thuringia from 1796 to 1810, where he taught manual arts, and there he began to produce a series of practical instruction manuals, the first being Der Papparbeiter of 1797 which ran to several editions. In recent years Blasche has come to the attention of researchers in alternative educational systems.
