Dickens (Charles) A Tale of Two Cities, second issue, with p.213 numbered correctly, frontispiece and 14 plates by H. K. Browne, some cracking at gutter and a few early pp. working a little loose, hinges reinforced, original olive cloth, rebacked with old spine laid down, some loss to spine head and foot, staining, 1859; The Life and Adventures of Martin Chuzzlewit, frontispiece ad 38 plates by "Phiz", lacking half-title, endpapers and frontispiece loosely inserted, p.493 with tear, affecting some text, cracking at hinges, contemporary half morocco, spine faded, 1844, first editions in book form, additional etched vignette titles, scattered foxing, browning and staining, extremities rubbed and bumped, [Smith 1,13; Smith 1,7]; and two other works by Dickens, 8vo (4)
