Description

Watts (Isaac) Sermons on Various Subjects, vol.1 only, first edition, lower corner of title defective and foot shaved with loss of imprint, also torn and repaired to verso with tape, soiled and stained, woodcut head-pieces and initials coloured rather crudely in an early hand, ink annotations and marking, soiled and stained, some other leaves trimmed with slight loss of signatures/catchwords, later sheep, gilt, spine split, worn, [ESTC T83082], 8vo, Printed for John Clarke [&c.], 1721.

⁂ Very rare. No copy traced at auction. Further volumes were published in 1723 and 1727.

Provenance: Spurgeon's College (ink stamps and library sticker to endpapers).
