Qu'ran, English.- Sale (George, translator) The Koran, commonly called the Alcoran of Mohammed, first edition of this translation, title in red and black, folding engraved map of Arabia and folding plate with view & plan of Mecca, 3 engraved genealogical tables on 2 folding sheets (2 & 3 conjoined), title stained and frayed with loss to a couple of letters (laid down), map torn and soiled at previous fold causing 1cm2 hole (repaired), browned, some stains, contemporary calf, spine gilt, rubbed and soiled, lacking most of label, [ESTC T146975; Rothschild 1811], 4to, C.Ackers, for J.Wilcox, 1734.
