Longfellow (Henry Wadsworth) The Song of Hiawatha, first edition, first issue, with "Dove" on p.96, line 7, 12 pp. advertisements at end, 'Brackenburn' bookplate, a couple leaves unopened, marginal toning, last p. and endpapers foxed, spine dulled, spine ends rubbed and fraying, slight shelf lean, Boston, 1855 § Stowe (Harriet Beecher) Uncle Tom's Cabin, frontispiece and additional illustrated title, pages uncut, bookseller's ticket on rear pastedown, some surface soiling, 1852, cracking at gutters and a few spots, original blind-stamped cloth, spines gilt, corners bumped, a couple of marks to covers; and 6 others, 5 by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 4to & 8vo (8)

⁂ The first mentioned is Hugh Walpole’s copy, bearing the ‘Brackenburn’ bookplate.
