Dearden, title with later ink date to foot and portion of loss, mainly marginal but slightly affecting printer's device, final f. with loss to foot but seemingly no text loss, some light soiling, water-stained, later brown half morocco, little rubbed, [Willems 791], Lugduni Batavorum [Leiden], Jean Elzevir, 1656; and an incomplete set of the translation of Shakespeare's Plays into Dutch (1778-82), v.s. ⁂ The first mentioned the ‘seconde edition’, but actually the third, of this Dutch-French dictionary, accompanied by the third edition of the companion volume from French-Dutch. They are especially valuable in providing technical translations for many specialist terms used in the trades, industries, crafts and commerce of the eighteenth century.
