Murder of Banbury jeweller.- Handy (William) Verses composed on the murder of G. ⁂ Rare, with only two copies recorded by WorldCat (BL and Bodleian). Kalabergo was an Italian jeweller who had lived in Banbury for some 40 years. He was shot by his nephew on Williamscot Hill (a few miles north of Banbury). He was tried, found guilty, and executed in March, 1852.
