Nicolas (Sir Nicholas Harris) History of the Orders of Knighthood of the British Empire...and of the Medals, Clasps, and Crosses conferred for Naval and Military Services, 4 vol., titles in red and black, hand-coloured lithographed portrait frontispiece and additional pictorial title (both neatly mounted on stub), 25 chromolithographed plates, including the 4 additional royal portraits, finished by hand and many heightened in gold, illustrations, armorial bookplate of Bibliotheque du Chateau de Wideville, occasional marginal water-staining, mainly to a few plates, some offsetting and light browning, some foxing, mainly to plates, later plum half morocco over marbled boards, gilt, spines with raised bands, t.e.g., little rubbed, still a handsome set, 4to, for John Hunter, 1842.
