Exeter], 24 February, 1832, "The conduct of our negros in Jamaica has made us very nervous but I am happy to say that none of Mr Sharps Estates have suffered. My mother's and Mr Pring's are all safe. I hope long ere this is an end to the troubles which was brought on entirely from the interference of England. This business will show them the folly of meddling with what they cannot comprehend which is the management of our negros.", address and Exeter postal stamps verso, folds, the odd spot, lightly browned.
