Raleigh (Sir Walter) Sir Walter Raleighs instructions to his sonne, and to posterity, 2 parts in 1, woodcut head-pieces and decorative initials, part 1 lacking a1, a2 (with portrait of the author), part 2 lacking A1, C7&8, D1 and final blank, early ink underlining and manicules, water-stained, occasional spotting, lightly browned, 20th century half calf over cloth, [STC 20642 & 156; ESTC S104586], Printed [?by John Beale] for Beniamin Fisher, dwelling in Aldersgate-street at the Talbot, 1632; and 5 others, defective 17th century English, including Joseph Swetnam on women and The thirteene bookes of Aeneidos, 1613, v.s. (6) sold not subject to return.

⁂ The second part of the first mentioned is 'The dutifull advice of a loving sonne to his aged father' (STC 156), which is 'A partial reprint from part 2 of: Southwell, Robert. A short rule of a good life.' (ESTC).
