Kipling (Rudyard) Rewards and Fairies, illustrations by Frank Craig, 10 pp. advertisements at back, contemporary ink gift inscription on front free endpapers, scattered spotting, worse to pastedowns and endpapers, some staining and very light marginal browning, original cloth, gilt, spine faded, spine ends and corners bumped and rubbed, 1910 § [Thackeray (William Makepeace)], "M.A. Titmarsh". The Rose and the ring or, the History of Prince Giglio and Prince Bulbo, first edition, Autograph Note and envelope, possibly in Thackeray's hand as "Titmarsh" tipped in at front, wood-engraved frontispiece, 7 plates and illustrations, advertisements at back, the occasional spot and some surface soiling, original pictorial rose boards, sympathetically rebacked, quite rubbed and worn, red cloth solander box, spine faded, [Gumuchian 5575; Osborne, p. 393; Van Duzer 185], 1855; and 13 others, all children's or illustrated, 4to and 8vo (15)
