White (Patrick), and others Sketches from "Nine Sharp" [4 copies], first editions, marginal spotting to one or two pages, library stamp and cards tipped-in of "Lindsey and Holland County Libraries" to front endpapers, modern blue cloth, library stickers to spines, light rubbing to spine ends and corner tips, 8vo, Samuel French, 1938.

⁂ This collection of plays contains Patrick White's fourth appearance in print, with "Peter Plover's Party", predating his first novel by a year. Also plays by Herbert Farjeon, James Laver and Reginald Beckwith as part of the French's Acting Edition series. Farjeon organised "Nine Sharp", a West End show featuring these plays.
