Kipling (Rudyard) The Jungle Book, lacking front endpaper, contemporary ink gift inscription to front endpaper, last few leaves loose, gutter cracking and hinges weak but holding, slight shelf-lean, spine little darkened, some fraying to spine ends, particularly to foot, corners quite worn, rubbed, 1894; The Second Jungle Book, 2pp. publisher's advertisement at end, contemporary gift inscription to front pastedown and quote from The Jungle Book written in a contemporary child's hand loosely inserted, lower hinge cracked but holding firm, very slight shelf-lean, spine very slightly darkened, few very small marks, some light bumping and wear to spine ends and corners, little rubbed elsewhere, overall excellent, 1895, first editions, frontispiece and illustrations by J.L.Kipling et al., light scattered foxing and surface soiling, original pictorial cloth, g.e., 8vo (2)
