⁂ A near-complete set of this satirical weekly, lacking only the first Number. Each issue of 2pp. contains a dialogue between "Jest" and "Earnest" on topics of current interest. It attacks on the Whigs and rails against France amidst the fear of Catholicism and the ongoing rumours of the ‘Popish Plot’. Editorship is sometimes attributed to Edward Rawlins or Thomas Flatman.
