Raleigh (Sir Walter) The Arts of Empire, and Mysteries of State Discabineted...Published by John Milton Esq., with final advertisement f., printing flaw to B2v affecting some text, small paper-flaw to B3 without text loss, some light foxing, rear free endpaper torn with loss, contemporary speckled sheep, neatly rebacked and with some repairs to extremities, spine gilt and with red morocco label, [ESTC R20812; Wing R155; Sabin 67599], 8vo, G. Groom, for Joseph Watts, 1692.

⁂ "To the Reader" signed John Milton. Originally published in 1658 as The cabinet-Council (Wing R156). "Although Milton believed that the manuscript he edited was by Raleigh, the attribution is doubtful" (ESTC). Infrequent appearances at auction.
